Stainless Steel Pipe, stone, and water

Artist’s Website

Jumbled is a large-scale abstract outdoor sculpture. By continuously bending and winding stainless steel pipes around themselves, the artist creates a form that achieves both a substantial presence and a sense of light, fluid geometry. The artwork draws water directly from the nearby creek; as water flows into the structure, it sprays out from multiple small openings scattered throughout the sculpture. Interacting with the shifting light, forest landscape, and ambient sounds of water, the piece creates a dynamic resonance with nature.
