”Festival” is a vibrant and monumental installation composed of five towering, distinctly colored steel columns. Coated in saturated spray paint—deep blue, orange, rich green, yellow, and red—the columns form a joyful, contrasting spectrum against the natural greenery, standing as powerful totems of communal unity. Each column serves as a canvas for intricate laser-cut designs, featuring vertical registers filled with abstract icons, geometric grids, and architectural window-like cutouts. These openings are further detailed with integrated elements such as a small black flag, a suspended red diamond, and a simple yellow disc. Through this compelling dialogue between rich cultural patterns and negative space, Festival transforms heavy industrial steel into a dynamic visual narrative, gracefully evoking the layered meanings and enduring spirit of cultural celebrations.
