Stainless steel tubing, natural stone base

Artist’s Website

Jiao conceived "Dancer II" as a unique personification of poetry and movement, specifically tailored for the resort's natural setting. The sculpture stands an impressive 15 feet tall and is constructed from stainless steel tubing finished with durable automotive paint, ensuring its eternal form remains vibrant through sun and rain.

The work's lines are executed with an airy lightness, like silk or wind, depicting a dancer captured at the peak of a leap. The figure’s body elegantly unwinds through the space, suggesting the fluidity of water and the weightlessness of a musical note.

"Dancer II" is situated on a separate hill, deliberately placed to gaze across the landscape at the first “Dancer” sculpture. The two installations—though created by different artists—engage in a silent, powerful conversation across the valley, together forming a tranquil, monumental duet within the woods.

Below them, the waters of Silver Spring Lake often reflect their graceful silhouettes, magnifying the serene spectacle. This juxtaposition of the two figures powerfully embodies Crystal Park’s vision: to achieve a profound state where art and nature seamlessly blend into a single, transcendent experience.

We warmly invite you to walk the trails and step into this space where movement and stillness, steel and air, intertwine. Come feel the deep sense of freedom and harmony as the land and the art dance together.
